Well, it's that time of year again...

Another big blowout at Mortimer's to celebrate my birthday the only way I know how: with 5 killer bands ant the best bar in town surrounded by my favorite people and drinking, eating, playing pinball and listening to a lot of loud music until lat in the night. This year, all proceeds will go to the Twin Cities' favorite music fan, Front Row Paul Engelbretson. Not one band on this bill hesitated to offer up their fee to donate to Paul's Gofundme and that speaks not only to the love we all have for Paul but also to the character of all the bands in the scene that Paul loves and nurtures every night he's out there, up front, encouraging(i.e. dancing HARD) bands both old and new, year after year.
